Nevermind what President Elect Trump said regarding free trade and other financial and economy issues, Ford Motor Company will move its model Focus production to Mexico, despite everything the current President Eelect Trump said during the electoral campaign about corporations taking their production operations to other countries, according to information that trascended all over the INternet and news outlets.trump-fields1
trump-fieldsThe company CEO, Mark Fields, said they would translate their Focus production to Mexico, in order to work on two major products in Detroit, Michigan, where Ford headquarters are located, and assured that the 35% tax Mr. Trump said he would charge upon companies taking operations to other countries, will affect all the automotive industry and the USA economy.
Harald Krueger, CEO of Bavarian Motor Works (BMW), also stated that free trade agreements should keep on working as they have up to date, and he expects Trump to give his decision about NAFTA and other free trade agreements a second thought.
