Three people from San Diego, who were lost in San Pedro Martir National Park, were located according to the Director of State Civil Protection, Alfredo Rosquillas, who said that they will be rescued within the next few hours after a little more than two days lost, without a trace.

Their plan was to climb the Eagles peak, the highest point in the Baja California peninsula and they were scheduled to be back to their car by Saturday, but the hours passed and nobody knew or had any information about them.

Rosquillas said that the helicopter was of great help in the search efforts which had been started on land since Sunday’s last hours, “once we rescue them they will be examined by doctors to check on their health”.

Rosquillas Navarro said that State Civil Protection, recommends the citizens to keep themselves informed and follow the reports which the Direction issues thru the web site http://www.proteccioncivilbc.gob.mx/.
