TECATE, Baja California.- The State Educational System (SEE), made the official announcement of the construction of a new school library in this city.
The delegate of the SEE in Tecate, Mario Alberto Benítez Reyes, explained that the work delivered consists of the construction of a space that will be used as a school library featuring air conditioning, blacksmithing protection and a bench area, with an investment of 295 thousand pesos.
The delegate thanked the parents for their commitment and support to make this possible, as this facility will improve the children’s level of education. He also said that it was the instruction of State Secretary of Education, Miguel Ángel Mendoza González, to promote actions that benefit the local community.
Finally he emphasized how important it is to promote the habit of the reading among children.
Monica Palomares, delegate of the General Secretariat of Government in Tecate; Elsa Griselda Ponce, head of preschool; Ignacio Aguayo, responsible for the area of Normativity and Investment were present at this ceremony.
