Agents of the Mexican Army seize more than 800 kilograms of cocaine in San Luis Río Colorado, Sonora.
The drug was being transported in a truck that carried avocados, from Tancítaro, Michoacán to Tijuana, Baja California.
Through a statement, it was reported that, in the Military Port of Strategic Security “Cucapah”, in San Luis Río Colorado, after searching the vehicles with gamma rays, anomalies were detected in the cargo of a truck that was supposed to be transporting avocados, from Tancítaro, in the southern state of Michoacán.
So when conducting the inspection 803 packs of carbon paper and transparent nylon were found, containing white powder with the characteristics of cocaine.
The driver of the vehicle was arrested and the 803 drug packages weighing approximately 800 kilograms in total, were placed under the custody of the corresponding authorities in the state of Sonora.
