Earthquake of 4.1 recorded 15 miles east of Mexicali on Saturday, February 17

On the night of Saturday, February 17, there was an earthquake of magnitude 4.1 points in the Richter scale, east of Mexicali, reported the National Seismological Service.

The quake was located 27 kilometers east of this municipality, latitude 32.64 ° and longitude -115.18 °, with a depth of 4 kilometers.

So far no damages have been reported. It should be mentioned that hours later, another tremor of magnitude 3.4 was registered, 85 kilometers east of Rodolfo Sánchez, Taboada (Maneadero), with a depth of 5 kilometers.

In total there have been 4 earthquakes reported by the SSN between February 17 and 19 in the state of Baja California, with the 4.1 registered to the east of Mexicali being the highest intensity.

At 17:04 hours on Saturday, February 17: Earthquake of magnitude 2.7 points in the Richter Scale, located 60 kilometers north of San Felipe, BC, with a depth of 4 km.

At 6:06 pm on Saturday, February 17: Earthquake of magnitude 2.6 points in the Richter Scale, located 73 kilometers southwest of Guadalupe Victoria, BC, with a depth of 16 km.

At 23:49 hours on Saturday, February 17: Earthquake of magnitude 4.1 points in the Richter Scale, located 27 kilometers east of Mexicali, BC, with a depth of 4 km.

At 03:20 hours on Sunday, February 18: Earthquake of magnitude 3.4 points in the Richter Scale, located 85 kilometers east of Rodolfo Sánchez Toboada (Maneadero), BC, with a depth of 5 km.
