Woman murdered in Cabo San Lucas was from Sinaloa

Los Cabos, Baja California Sur.- A young woman from the state of Sinaloa was gunned down outside a home located in Colonia Las Palmas of Cabo San Lucas on Friday, February 23.

The Attorney General of the State (PGJE), reported that the facts occured at 1:54 pm, on February 23, and the victim was found lying on the floor outside a house without vital signs.

Agents of the Ministerial Police and experts of the Directorate of Expert Services cordoned off the area to carry out the corresponding investigations.

On the site, several percussion shells were insured, which were sent to the laboratory for analysis.

The PGJE announced that the victim was identified, that she was 26 years old and originally from the state of Sinaloa; and according to Plataforma México (Criminal records online platform), the woman had a criminal record for crimes against health (drug trafficking).

Finally, the agency reported that investigations will continue to clarify these violent events and try to find those responsible. Absolutely no arrests have been made so far in relation with this crime.
