Projection of Dragon Ball Super in Mexicali canceled

Mexicali, BC- Despite the fact that The Baja Post published on March 15th, that the City Council was going to broadcast the long expected fight between Goku and Jiren, and that the”Cachanilla” community requested that the penultimate chapter of the animated series Dragon Ball Super be publicly projected, authorities of the XXII City Council of Mexicali informed that the authorization could not be obtained from the company that holds the copyright.

Alfredo Vega, head of Social Communication of this Municipality stated that the process to obtain the rights to broadcast the episode was not completed, even though staff from the City Council’s legal area looked for different ways to obtain them.

Since last Tuesday March 13, the mayor, Gustavo Sánchez Vásquez, acknowledged before the media that his administration was looking for a way to meet this citizen’s request, since Internet users asked on the municipal government social networks to make this a public event as it is supposed to happen in other municipalities of the country. Nevertheless, the massive projection will not be carried out.
