Los Cabos, Baja California Sur.- The Federal Office of Environmental Protection (Profepa) rescued and reinstated a Sea Lion specimen to its natural habitat in El Arco, Cabo San Lucas, Baja California Sur, in a joint action with the Cabo delfinario Dolphins and the National Commission of Natural Protected Areas (CONANP).

The one-year-old specimen was rescued in the Cabo San Lucas Marina, where he was reported to Profepa, saying he had been prostrate for hours on a ship, passively and visibly under weight.

The support of Dolphins-Dolphins dolphinarium was requested, transferring personnel to the place and of the revision made by veterinarians, it is reported that the animal shows moderate malnutrition and no reaction to the presence of people, which is not a good sign.
