Wetlands and Conservation Symposium to be held April 3rd in Mexicali

In order to contribute and work together with different sectors of society in the conservation, preservation and restoration of wetlands for the protection of the environment in Baja California, the Secretariat of Environmental Protection (SPA), organized the Wetlands and Conservation Symposium.

It will have the participation of agencies from the federal, state and municipal governments, as well as civil associations, and academia.

The objective of this symposium is to look for projects that mitigate the effects of climate change, with the goal of conserving the natural resources of Baja California.

All restoration actions of the Lagoon System in Mexicali will be carried out in compliance with all federal, state and municipal permits and regulations, as well as with respect to the criteria established for Ramsar sites.
