DART Container will invest 40 million dollar to enhance current operations in Tijuana

DART CONTAINER is an American company operating in Valle Redondo in Tijuana, which announced a 40 million dollar investment to Baja California Governor Francisco Kiko Vega in Detroit, Michigan, part of the governor’s visit to the USA and Canada, three days before, Governor Vega had gotten together with Mexico’s Consul-General in Chicago Illinois, , Carlos Martín Jiménez Macías.

DART CONTAINER will increase its production capacity in a project that will be over in 2020, they will enhance facilities, infrastructures and increase shipments to its market in California, according to CEO Jim Lammers, as well as Manufacture Vice-president, Joe Lawry and other top DART CONTAINNER executives in a meeting with Governor Vega and Economic Development Secretary Carlo Bonfante Olache.

Governor Vega and Bonfante spoke to them about the infrastructure projects in Ensenada, which include the Port and a Railroad Connection from Ensenada to Tecate, which will allow the company to move supplies, merchandise and products at competitive costs to the United States, Asia and Latin America markets.
