[:en]The security operation that was deployed in Cancun for the “Spring Break” and Easter holidays led to the arrest of 420 tourists, informed the authorities.

In an information card it is reported that of the total number of detainees, 389 were men and 31 were women, and that they were all referred to the Judge for various administrative offenses. It was indicated that 258 were residents, 21 national tourists and 141 foreign tourists.

This situation allowed to increase the vigilance due to the presence of people in the public beaches, in the zone of night clubs, in bus stops, as well as in the shopping areas of Cancun’s hotel zone.

It is worth mentioning that the most recurrent administrative fault was disturbing the public order under the effects of alcohol (fractions I and II) with 40% of the total number of people arrested.

Likewise, to strengthen the safety of visitors to this destination, a total of 894 vehicle inspections were carried out, of which 465 were automobile inspections in general, 223 for having smoked windows and 206 inspections to motorcycles.

Finally, the agents of the Tourist Police provided 14 assistances to motorists, attended 42 traffic accidents on the Kukulcán Boulevard, they put 2,724 binnacles in shops, as well as the third lane which was opened 18 times to speed up vehicular flow. 2 aquatic rescues were carried out as well, one to a resident and another one to a national tourist.

En una tarjeta informativa se reere que del total de detenidos, 389 fueron hombres y 31 mujeres que fueron remitidas al Juez Calicador por diversas faltas administrativas

Asimismo, se indicó que 258 detenidos fueron residentes, 21 turistas nacionales y 141 turistas extranjeros.
Esta situaciín permitió incrementar la vigilancia por la auencia de personas en las playas públicas, en la zona de discotecas, en paraderos de autobuses, así como en las plazas comerciales de la zona hotelera.

Cabe mencionar que la falta administrativa más recurrente fue perturbar el orden público bajo los efectos del alcohol (fracciones I y II) con el 40% del total de remitidos.

Asimismo, para fortalecer la seguridad de los visitantes a este destino se realizaron un total de 894 revisiones a vehículos, de los cuales, 465 fueron inspecciones de automóviles en general, 223 por tener cristales polarizados y 206 inspecciones a motocicletas.

Finalmente, los elementos de la Policía Turística brindaron 14 apoyos a diversos automovilistas, atendieron 42 hechos de tránsito en el Bulevar Kukulcán, rmaron 2,724 bitácoras en comercios, así como en 18 ocasiones se abrió el tercer carril a la altura del coral negro para agilizar la afluencia vehicular, así como 2 rescates acuáticos que se brindaron a un residente y a un turista nacional.
