Governor Kiko Vega will travel to Europe to promote Baja California as investment destination

Baja California Governor Francisco Kiko Vega de Lamadrid, will attend the International Farnborough Aerospace Gairn in the united Kingdom as part of the investment attraction and economic promotion tour which will take place from July 16 to July 22, where Mr. Vega and the Secretary of Economic Development, Carlo Bonfante Olache, will meet with executives of aerospace companies already operating in Mexicali, such as GKN and Honeywell which have had presence in Mexicali for quite a long time now as well as other prospect, said Manuel Rubio Montoya, Investment Attraction and Promotion Director of the state’s Secretary of economic Development in press conference.

Governor Kiko Vega and Secretary Bonfante will inaugurate the Baja California stand in the 2018 edition of the fair, which is a space to exhibit and promote Baja California to meet business prospects and project business opportunity, supplying needs and advantages of investing in Baja California, taking advantage of the opportunity which one thousand expositors from 52 countries and 82 of the 100 leading aerospace companies worldwide.

The tour will also include Stockholm, Sweden, where Mr. Vega will meet Mexico’s Ambassador, Agustín Gasca Pliego; and representatives of an automotive corporation which already operates in Tijuana and is seeking to grow its operation then the trip continues to Munich, Germany where he will meet with top executives of an electronic company which will enhance operations in Baja California.
