A group of Baja California children made their dream of meeting their favorite Disney characters come true, with support from State DIF.
The president of the DIF Baja California Board of Trustees, Brenda Ruacho de Vega, was in charge of taking a group of children with disabilities to Disneyland in Anaheim, California, United States.
This trip was carried out thanks to the support of volunteers and sponsors who cooperated to fulfill the dream of these children.
Ruacho de Vega explained that this is the third time this activity is carried out, but in the previous ones the children who visited “The happiest place on Earth” came from shelters and orphan homes.
“In the three excursions, the children enjoyed meeting the Disney characters, especially the iconic Mickey Mouse, whom they could not stop embracing,” said the president of DIF.
She concluded by noting that these actions are a way of giving moments of joy to children who due to their ailments or situations have complications in their daily lives.
