La Paz, BCS. “In the coming months, nine hotels will be built in this municipality, most of them boutique-type”, said Mayor Rubén Muñoz Álvarez.
The mayor of La Paz announced the construction of four hotels in this city, four in Todos Santos and one in the area of La Ventana and El Sargento, which represents about 300 new rooms in the municipality of La Paz.
He specified that the construction of a Hilton hotel will begin next week. And on May 3, the anniversary of the founding of the state capital, the construction of a Habitat Group hotel will begin as well. The mayor also mentioned that in the following weeks, the Bahía Central and Madre Perla boutique hotels, wil start construction works, all of them in the city of La Paz.
He explained that his administration is not promoting major tourist developments, but internationally recognized brands such as Hilton and Habitat, as well as boutique hotels aimed at upper middle class tourism that admires nature, seeks contact with marine ecosystems and likes to practice sports such as road or mountain biking.
“The new hotels will allow us to become the municipal administration that in the shortest term has promoted the largest investment from the private sector that can be remembered in our city,” concluded the mayor of La Paz.
