Tourism activity is reactivated in Rosarito BC

The State Secretariat of Tourism of the state of Baja California (Secture) reported that the hotels in Playas de Rosarito reported an average occupancy of 84.87 percent last month.

In the week of March 8 to 30, the state agency said in a statement that these figures are derived from the relevant activities at the start of Spring Break 2019, organized by JusCollage, SWAT and Papas & Beer (local companies) to attract more visitors to the beaches of the region.

This occupacny average means an increase of 2,261 rooms in the general category and more than 2,400 in the tourist category; this compared to the same period in 2018.

He added that all this accounting does not include the first week of April, when 16 passenger buses and other vehicles arrived to Rosarito with about 1,000 students, mainly from California universities.
