SF Marina Azul touristic project would create 6 thousand new jobs, said Governor Vega in FONATUR

There is a potential job generation of 6 thousand 600 direct Jobs if Marina Azul Golf and Resort develops in San Felipe and a project to re-activate the port of Santa Rosaliíta, in southern Baja California, creating a new tourist destination which would benefit the locals creating new jobs for the area residents, said Governor Kiko Vega to the Tourism National Fund  director, Rogelio Jiménez Pons.

Mr. Vega pointed out that this would boost San Felipe´s development as a tourist destination, improving its inhabitants’ financial situation, which has been a problem for the last few years, and he also assured that the Marina Azul Golf and Resort project would create 6 thousand 600 direct jobs and 15 thousand indirect ones.

He also explained that, in his last meeting with President Lopez Obrador, they agreed to reinforce coordination and foster the new federal administration for both projects, which were received in a positive manner by the President, so they will be celebrating weekly meetings to keep track of the project´s advacenments.
