Mexican astronaut Jose Hernandez visits CETYS University Campus ENSENADA

Fostering development in strategic topics, such as the aerospace industry, through the integral formation of professionals and achieving a good liaison between academy and this relevant industrial sector was the main issue in the meeting between the Center of Superior and Technical Studies (CETYS) Dean, Fernando León  and Mexican astronaut Jose Hernandez, in the Ensenada  Campus where they signed an agreement of collaboration which establishes that students and professors will work together in aerospace projects in the region in order to launch a rocket, in an institutional relation with international organizations, among other plans, said dean León.

“We are taking the links and liaison we have established with astronaut Jose Hernandez to the next level, because one of our institutional pillars is the connection with the industrial sector, which has a positive impact on students, besides that it incorporates the academy and Government working altogether in order to foster regional development in str5ategic subjects”, said León.

It is the spirit of CETYS, which fosters global competitive capabilities among the students, with activities such as this one, which also reinforce the liaison, and international expert’s participation, adding up knowledge as part of their integral formation, said CETYS System Dean.
