4.1 magnitude earthquake shook Baja California Sur

An earthquake of magnitude 4.1 was recorded northeast of Santa Rosalia, Baja California Sur, at 00:09 hours on Thursday May 23, reported the National Seismological Service (SSN).

The agency added that the epicenter of the earthquake was located 67 kilometers northeast of Santa Rosalia.

The earthquake took place precisely at latitude of 27.90, a length of -112.00 with a depth of five kilometers, said the Narional Seismological Service.

Through the Twitter account @SSNMexico, the agency said: “SISMO Magnitude 4.1 Loc 67 km NORTH of SANTA ROSALIA, BCS 05/23/19 00:09:31 Lat 27.90 Lon -112.00 Pf 5 km”.
