Helicopter emergency landing in Imperial Valley it had just taken off and caught fire

A helicopter that had just taken off from Imperial County airport, caught fire and the pilot was forced to perform an emergency landing according to information sent to THE BAJA POST by a motorist who was driving on Freeway  86 (Imperial Avenue) around one o´clock this Thursday afternoon and saw the aircraft on fire, it was a CH60 Stallion.

Personnel from the Fire Department and emergency service paramedics, arrived to the place where the helicopter was on fire and rescued the crew, there were no injured no casualties, the accident is under investigation by the corresponding authorities in order to determine the causes and stablish responsibilities and/or accountabilities in this incident where (once again) there were no victims nor injured aircraft occupants.
