(OEM-Informex) .- The local representative Carlos Van Wormer Ruiz, met with the ambassador of the European Union in Mexico, Klaus Dieter Rudischhauser, and with European businessmen, to emphasize that Baja California Sur is ready to work hand in hand with investors from that continent and encourage tourism growth in the region.
At the meeting held at the Cathedral Hotel in the city of La Paz, along with the mayor of La Paz, Rubén Muñoz Álvarez; the Undersecretary of Economy, Alejandro Blanco Hernández; State, municipal and business sector representatives.
Carlos Van Wormer, reiterated his invitation to European investors to work harder in a fruitful relationship of work and collaboration; In this regard, he mentioned that Todos Santos and Cabo del Este, are some of the areas showing significant growth, because they have enough space and natural resources for the creation of tourism developments. Other aspects seen during the meeting were: the financing of sustainable development projects in the field of clean energy, expansion of tourism infrastructure, transportation with the use of alternative fuels, desalination of water, and the production of aquafeeds.
