Baja California State University regrets the murder of two “longhorn rams”: A nurse student and a Law School alumnus

“We, the Baja California State University (UABC) community express our sorrow and condolences for the tragic loss of Daniel Ulises Ye Perez, who was a student in the School for Nurses Campus Mexicali and the former Law School student, Marbella Valdez Villarreal, who as of last semester (2019-2) was still studying in UABC Campus Tijuana”.

“We feel aggravated and hurt, as part of Baja California society exposed to acts of violence, and to the families, friends and relatives of Daniel and Marbella, we would like to wish them strength to face these painful moments and ask them to hold dear their memories of two young lives that were cut short too soon, two fellow longhorn rams who have deperted”.

“The UABC rejects and deplores any type of violence, so we will keep channeling efforts to foster values so our students and future profesisonals may be respectful citizens who protect and look for the well being of all human beings. We trust that there will be jjustice for unfair deaths of Daniel and Marbella, so ´the two crimes won´t go unpunished”.
