About 200 students of Salvador Allende Junior Highhave now a new bus, it is a public school located in Mexicali Valley, on the kilometer 11.5 of the Mexicali-San Felipe highway near construction site of Constellation Executives brewing plant, who donated the vehicle, delivered by top notch executives in a protocol ceremony, according to a press release issued by the transnational giant.
This is part of a program that a Mexican private organization called Coalition for Social Participation in Education (COPASE) and Constellation Brands have developed for the benefit of students in the area, which allows them to restore and construct buildings, green area rescue and providing equipment and furniture for classrooms and improving sports facilities, as well as 30 computers and Wi-Fi.
Constellation Brands has invested more than 5 million pesos (about 250 thousand dollars) remodeling two other schools nearby, with a 500 hundred student population, as well as administrative and academic personnel, and the company wants to be “a good corporative citizen”.
