PGJE detains American criminal with three arrest warrants in the U.S.

MEXICALI, BC, THURSDAY, AUGUST 24, 2017. Based on the Collaboration Agreements maintained with the US authorities, Ministerial Police (PME) agents assigned to the International Liaison Unit assured a US fugitive from Justice.

The detainee identified as RAMÓN ALBERTO UBENCE, 24, was wanted by the United States authorities for several crimes, including violating of his probation, arrest warrant, robbery, burglary and human trafficking charges.

After receiving the request by the Sheriff of the Imperial Valley, for the capture of Ramón Alberto; (Who was apprently residing in this city since January), agents of the Ministerial Police carried out an operation on Avenida Jalisco Avenue in Colonia Santa Clara, resulting in the arrest of this suspect.

It should be noted that at the time of the arrest, Ramon was found in possession of three knives and a balaclava.

After completing the corresponding procedures, the detainee was taken to the INAMI facilities for his subsequent delivery to the United States authorities.
