American citizen arrested by PEP , he had an outstanding warrant for drug smuggling

As part of the “Security Crusade, everybody’s task”, an American citizen who had an outstanding warrant for drug smuggling in El Centro, California, was arrested by the International Liaison Coordination of the Public Secretary of Security in Baja California, in Vilas del Rey, a suburban area of Mexicali where the State Police (PEP) and the National Institute of Immigration (INM) set up a check point, where Christopher “X”, 28 years old, was detained.

When his personal data was checked through the C4 Command and Control Center by PEP and INM agents and they found out that he couldn’t prove his legal stay in Mexico, and the US Marshalls and the USA State Department informed that he had an outstanding arrest warrant for drug smuggling and dealing.

The warrant was issued 4 months ago in El Centro, California for drug smuggling, so he fled and enter Mexico thru Mexicali to avoid arrest, and last year he had been arrested for robbery, so he was arrested and sent to authorities who will determine his legal status and take the corresponding actions.
