Dozens of Mexicans in the state capital of Baja California stood in line waiting to participate in the Netflix’s casting call, which was called in Mexicali last Sunday, February 25.
The most important producer and distributor of streaming content worldwide, announced that it would be testing for several projects to be filmed in Baja California.
From 10:00 am on Sunday Feb. 27, long lines coulb be seen outside Studio Q on Calle Tapiceros in Colonia Industrial.
It was until 7:00 pm that the face-to-face casting ended, leaving dozens waiting to be able to do their tests.
However, the filmmakers informed that the try-outs will continue in Tijuana in the coming weeks.
The call solicited men, women, teenagers and children of all ages, actors and non-actors.
It was said that the projects involves a series that will be filmed in Tijuana and two more films that will take place in different parts of the Baja California peninsula.
