Mexicali, BC, on March 7, 2018.- For the benefit of the Mexicali Valley residents, the Municipal President of Mexicali, Gustavo Sánchez Vásquez, gave the signal for the beginning of the works to introduce potable water in the area known as Ejido San Luis Potosí (Delegación Hechicera).
The Mayor stressed that this project will benefit more than 1,200 inhabitants, who live in this community and will have a better quality of life to access such an important basic service.
He explained that this work consists of drilling a well and rehabilitating the potable water system to supply the liquid directly to residents of the Ejido San Luis Potosí, for which 2,550,000 pesos were invested from the Infrastructure Contribution Fund. Social (FAIS).
Sánchez Vásquez mentioned that day by day progress is being made in projects that directly benefit the community of the Mexicali Valley, San Felipe and the urban area. Projects that have been requested by the citizenship for years, and thanks to the efforts of the 22 City Council of Mexicali, are becoming a reality today.
The inauguration was presided by Gustavo Sánchez Vásquez, and was attended by Héctor Guzmán; José Francisco Reynoso Ambriz, Director of Public Works; the municipal delegate of Hechicera José Ángel López Urrea; on behalf of the Ejidal Commissariat (Comisariado Ejidal), Enrique Hernández and representatives of the community.
