41 million pesos investment for the Technological University of La Paz

A total of 41 million pesos will be invested in the construction of 2 new buildings for the Technological University of La Paz (UTLP), a work that aims to strengthen the teaching and training of professionals in Baja California Sur.

In that sense, the state governor, Carlos Mendoza Davis, reiterated that his government will continue to promote actions to improve educational centers, to make them more modern, efficient, and high quality, in oorder to prepare the professionals needed by the state.

The Government of the State is looking for young graduates of this institution to enter the labor market with a level of superior technicians or degrees related to the areas of knowledge and productive activities, he said.

For his part, he recalled that Baja California Sur is the Mexican state with the highest economic growth with 17.5%, with tourism being the economic engine featuring more than 3 million visitors during 2017.
