Governor Kiko Vega will promote Baja California industry and aerospace leadership in Europe

Strengthen current investment as well as luring new companies to Baja California, mainly aerospace industry as well as diplomatic c visits to countries such as France, Ireland, Germany and Spain, are part of the goals of the promotion European tour Governor Kiko Vega will start next June 17, the main destination will be the 53rd INTERNATIONAL PARIS AIR SHOW, Le Bourget, with more than 300 thousand visitors, 2 thousand 381 expositors from 48 countries and 290 delegations from 98 nations.

A Baja California committee will remain in Le Bourget while the rest will visit Stuttgart and Munich in Germany, Dublin in Ireland and Madrid, Spain, with diplomatic visits as well as different corporative offices and headquarters of companies which are already operating in Baja California, in order to learn about expansion plans and reiterate the State Government support fir successful implementation of any new plans they may have for Baja California, said Economic Development Secretary, Carlo Bonfante.

Representatives of Industrial Parks Nicoya, Calafia, Grupo IAMSA, PIMSA and PRODENSA Shelter as well as the Industrial Development Commission of Mexicali and Economic and Industrial Development of Tijuana, will attend the INTERNATIONAL PARIS AIR SHOW and there will also be a meeting with Mexico´s ambassador to France, Manuel Gómez in a business gathering which will be held by Baja California.

Baja California is Mexico´s leading state regarding aerospace investment, 54 years’ experience, 94 companies which now employ 35 thousand Mexican workers, and 25% of this branch ox investment at a National level, with companies such as Honeywell, Safran, Collins Aerospace GKN, Gulfstream, Triumph, Cobham, Eaton, Parker, Ascent Aerospace, Esterline, Hutchinson Aerospace, Tyco, Chromalloy, Lockheed Martin, LMIAerospace, Bap Aerospace and Innocentro.
