Making good on his campaign promises of paying a visit and financially supporting Baja California State University (UABC), governor Jaime Bonilla signed the execution addendum with which the university will be able to receive 38 million pesos which are part of a tripartite agreement.
UABC dean, Daniel Octavio Valdez, explained that the prior governor had not signed the signing of the document so he thanked Mister Bonilla for his cooperation and disposition by the new State Administration. The document signing took place after a courtesy visit by the Executive Branch chief, he took a tour around the University facilities in the so-called Mexicali Central Campus, including the Law School where he witnessed a Court hearing rehearsal by students who, in a few years, will be lawyers. He also toured the Engineering School and laboratories greeting teachers, students and administrative and general services staff.
During the visit around the Campus, Dean Valdez gave the Governor a UABC Jacket, which Bonilla Valdez wore proudly and he finally said: “There come very good news for the University, we know the reach and relevance of this educational institution and students, teachers and staff can rest assured that they can count on our help and support “, said the Gov.
